Ms Janet Wong obtained her Bachelor degree of Pharmacy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she further completed Master of Science in Cardiology (Essential Cardiology Concentration) and Diploma in Advances in Medicine.

 

With dedication to pharmacy service in the primary care setting, Ms. Wong had been practicing as the pharmacist-in-charge at a local chain pharmacy. Prior to joining HKU as lecturer, Ms. Wong has served as the drug information pharmacist of the community pharmacy chain.

 

Inspired by collaborations with nurses, registered dietitians and Chinese medicine practitioners, Ms. Wong has been advocating different community health initiatives through a multi-disciplinary approach.

 

Ms. Wong has developed a passion for pharmacy education from the time she participated in undergraduate teaching of pharmacy practice as a practitioner. She has also been serving as mentor and preceptor for pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students.
